The 31st Annual Meeting & Conference of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA), will be held for the first time in Dubai from 7th - 10th of March 2023 at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Business Bay, Dubai.

The Inter-Pacific Bar Association ("IPBA") is an international association of business and commercial lawyers who live, or otherwise have a strong interest, in the Asia-Pacific Region. It was established in April 1991 and has grown to become the pre-eminent legal association in Asia-Pacific region, with a worldwide membership of 1200 members from over 60 jurisdictions. It is anticipated that 800+ lawyers will attend the Dubai conference.

The Conference is titled ‘One World: Law and the Environment Beyond Covid’. It is vital for lawyers and the legal industry to approach new challenges which businesses now face with both optimism and clarity of vision; accepting and embracing the changes of the new commercial landscape.

Our Executive Partner, Richard Briggs, President of the IBPA and Chair of the Organising Committee for the IPBA Annual Meeting & Conference 2023, says: “it is with great pleasure that I invite you to this ground breaking Conference, which brings this unique and inclusive organisation to the Middle East for the first time”.

The Conference programming and social agendas will enable delegates to explore and discuss updated developments of the current global legal practice. Delegates will see the advantageous role that Dubai and the Middle East region can play in contributing to and facilitating business and commercial endeavours globally.
