Mohammed is an Associate in our Dispute Resolution team in Dubai with experience advising clients on legal proceedings in relation to both the onshore local Courts and the common law DIFC Courts, in addition to advising on UNICITRAL, ICC and LCIA arbitral proceedings.
Mohammed regularly acts for clients in respect of a broad of range commercial disputes, including shareholder disputes, white-collar crime, commercial fraud, Insolvency, AML, distributorships, sponsorship agreements, Insurance claims, employment and property disputes. He also specializes in advising on the service and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards and judgments in the UAE.
With experience in both common law and civil law jurisdictions, Mohammed advises on complex cross-border disputes from a holistic point of view, working with and advising counsel globally in relation to foreign arbitration and court proceedings in the local Dubai Courts.
Prior to joining Hadef & Partners, Mohammed trained at a commercial firm in Australia where he assisted on a cross-border enforcement case that was heard in the High Court of Australia.
Mohammed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from a Red Brick university and a Masters in Commercial Law. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria as an Australian Lawyer in 2018.
In 2021, Mohammed was shortlisted for the Middle East Legal Awards Most Promising Newcomer Award.
