Ghalib Mahmoud is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department. Ghalib represents clients in various areas of complex litigation, including mediation, international arbitration, the Courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the local-onshore UAE Courts.
Ghalib advises multinational companies and individuals on various areas of law and counsels clients in matters of complex corporate fraud, shareholder disputes, agency disputes, white collar criminal matters, international judicial cooperation, and cross border service of process.
Prior to joining Hadef & Partners, Ghalib worked as an Associate at a civil litigation firm located in the New York metropolitan area where he represented a wide range of clients in international and domestic transactions and disputes. Ghalib has legal experience at both the United States Federal and State levels and has worked with the United States Department of Justice-Executive Office for Immigration Review, Federal Court of Appeals, and the United Nations.
He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Rutgers University - The State University of New Jersey, where he graduated with honours distinctions, a Double Major in Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies and a Minor and Certification in International Studies.
Ghalib is admitted into the New York and New Jersey State Bars and received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Seton Hall University School of Law in New Jersey.
He is a member of Phi Sigma Alpha, the American and International Bar Associations and a designated Senior Research Fellow at Seton Hall University School of Law’s Center for Policy and Research.
