Alex heads Hadef & Partners' Employment practice in Dubai. Prior to joining the firm, Alex made a close study of UAE labour law provisions. Subsequently he co-authored an employment law guide for use by HR managers in the UAE, the
Hadef Labour Law Guide.
As head of the Employment team, he currently advises on a wide variety of employment issues and has acknowledged expertise as a document-drafter and innovator. In addition he is a registered practitioner before the DIFC courts.
Alexander graduated in Arabic from Oxford University and qualified as a member of both the English and Scottish Bars. As well as being a specialist in employment law, he has extensive experience in banking and finance and corporate/commercial matters, gathered in the course of over 20 years practice in the Gulf region.
