Brent has wide experience in all aspects of commercial property and real estate law, including advising on the sale and purchase of premium office and retail space, commercial leasing, due diligence, securities advice and strata property development and management. He is also experienced in dealing with real estate disputes and has an extensive knowledge of UAE property laws.
Prior to moving to Dubai, Brent spent over ten years in legal practice in New Zealand. He has worked for two of New Zealand’s leading law firms and also as an in-house lawyer for a telecommunications company.
Brent trained in New Zealand. He holds both Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (History) degrees from the University of Otago and a Master of Laws from the University of Auckland. Brent was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 1997.
