Murad oversees the Corporate Advisory and Corporate Finance teams in Dubai and is joint head of the Corporate practice. A long-serving member of the Hadef & Partners team, Murad has been involved in many of the UAE’s most sensitive and complex corporate advisory matters.
Having a legal as well as an accounting background, Murad is uniquely placed to advise on all matters related to corporate vehicles, corporate structuring and restructuring, corporate governance, and directors’ duties, capital markets, insolvency and bankruptcy, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, offshore jurisdictions and free zone regulations.
He specialises in corporate finance and corporate advisory, private placements, initial public offerings as well as listings of debt and equity instruments within the Middle East. He also advised on infrastructure funds, Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITS) and financial and general regulatory issues on major projects undertaken by the firm.
Murad completed his BA in Law from Jordan University, passed the CPA examinations of the Alaska State Board of Public Accountancy, completed his LLM (Hons) from the Arab Institute for Research & Studies in Cairo. He is a member of the Jordan Bar Association.
