Sadiq is Managing Partner of Hadef & Partners' Dubai office. He has extensive corporate and commercial law experience, particularly in respect of inward investment, joint ventures, banking and finance, energy and infrastructure, and mergers and acquisitions.
Richard is a recognised leader in commercial dispute resolution in the UAE and has practised contentious business law in the UAE for most of his career. His areas of specialisation are in the litigation and arbitration fields, particularly with reference to maritime, trade and insurance law in the UAE and the Middle East.
Since joining Hadef & Partners in 1998, Basil has enjoyed an extremely broad based practice spanning diverse areas of law including corporate, commercial, construction, real estate, arbitration and provision of litigation support. Over the years he has acquired an in depth knowledge of UAE law and currently heads the Real Estate and Construction group at the Abu Dhabi office.
Abdulrahman is a senior litigator and Deputy Head of our Dispute Resolution practice. He is licensed to appear before local and federal courts, namely, the Dubai Court of First Instance, Court of Appeals and Court of Cassation, and the UAE Federal Court of First Instance and Court of Appeal.
Adrian has 25 years experience of handling shipping and international trade matters, as well as general commercial litigation/arbitration disputes. He also has considerable experience of shipping finance, newbuilding and vessel repair contracts and vessel sale/purchase. Adrian commenced his career in London with Horrocks & Co. a specialist shipping and international trade law firm. In 1989 he joined Clyde & Co. and after three months transferred to its Hong Kong office.
Alan heads Hadef & Partners' Banking & Finance practice in Dubai. He has extensive experience in advising clients on legal aspects in banking, Islamic finance, project finance, UAE debt capital markets, private public initiatives and privatisation. His clients include developers, sponsors, banks, government institutions and private entities.
After 35 years specialisation, Anthony is a leading adviser in engineering and construction law. He acts for developers, funders, contractors, major sub contractors and consultants across the entire commercial development spectrum.
Barton has over 10 years experience practising in corporate and commercial law. His expertise includes providing corporate structure advice, managing complex local and cross-border transaction processes, negotiating and preparing principal agreements for the sale and purchase of shares, businesses and assets as well as advising on, and drafting documents for, private placements, joint ventures (both incorporated and unincorporated) and shareholder agreements.
Erik leads Hadef & Partners' Maritime, Transport & Trade practice. He acts for major international, UAE and GCC brand names on contentious and non-contentious matters. He has earned a reputation for a responsive and commercially sensitive approach.
