She has advised UAE and international project sponsors and lenders in various asset finance and landmark project finance transactions across a variety of industry sectors, including water and electricity, aluminium and alternative energy. 

 

Valeriya graduated with honours from the Moscow Institute of International Relations (University) as a lawyer specialising in international law. Following a brief service with the Russian Embassy in Nicaragua, she practised international and Russian tax law with Ernst & Young in Moscow before continuing her legal career in Dubai. 

 

Valeriya is fluent in English and Russian and has knowledge of Ukrainian, Spanish, Italian and French.
