Leading UAE law firm Hadef & Partners, today announced that four senior lawyers have become Partners in its Dubai office. The appointments increase the number of Partners at Hadef & Partners to 18 out of a total of over 75 lawyers.
 
The new Partners are:
 
Anthony Edwards, Head of Engineering & Construction – Anthony is one of the UAE’s best known engineering and construction law specialists. With over 35 years specialist experience, Anthony is highly highly regarded by clients and peers for his meticulous, hands-on, intelligent and effective approach. Anthony is an advocate in the DIFC Courts and a panel arbitrator at DIAC.
 
Adrian Chadwick, Dispute Resolution – Adrian has 25 years experience of handling shipping and international trade matters, as well as general commercial litigation/arbitration disputes. He also has considerable experience of shipping finance, newbuilding and vessel repair contracts and vessel sale/purchase. Adrian has worked previously in London and Hong Kong and is admitted in those jurisdictions as well as Australia. In the UAE he has full registration as a Legal Practitioner of the DIFC Courts.
 
Valeria Lysenko, Banking & Finance – Valeria has over a decade of substantial UAE experience in corporate and commercial law with a focus on banking and finance. She has been recognised by leading legal industry reviews as a highly regarded lawyer, known for her project finance expertise and compelling negotiation skills.
 
Barton Hoggard, Corporate – Barton has made a significant contribution to Hadef & Partners' Corporate department over several years and has substantial expertise in managing complex local and cross-border transactions. He has advised on a number of significant acquisitions, divestments and joint ventures for regional and international clients. Having worked in-house within a major steel group, as well as for major law firms, Barton has extensive knowledge of the legal and commercial considerations facing companies operating within the UAE.
