Hadef & Partners welcome further new joiners to the Employment, Banking & Finance and Real Estate & Commercial teams in Dubai.  These teams have been increasingly busy over the past few months and the additions to these teams will ensure our ongoing commitment to delivering a high quality legal service to our clients.
 
Employment – The Employment team in Dubai has recently expanded with the addition of Jamie Liddington who joins us as Senior Associate and Reece Leggit, who joins as Associate. 
 
Jamie is a qualified Solicitor and is experienced in advising upon the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.  In particular, Jamie has vast experience of employment litigation. Jamie has a particular interest in bonus disputes and other employee benefits issues within the Financial Services sector as well as the law as it relates to ‘whistle-blowing’.  Before joining Hadef & Partners, Jamie spent over 3 years in London with the UK’s largest specialist employment law firm – Doyle Clayton.  During this time Jamie successfully represented many clients both in the High Court and Employment Tribunals throughout the UK.
 
Reece advises on a wide range of employment issues, both contentious and transactional in nature. He has worked with a wide variety of clients within Dubai, the DIFC and various other free zones.  Prior to moving to Dubai and joining Hadef & Partners, Reece was a lawyer at Kensington Swan Lawyers in New Zealand, specialising in commercial litigation. Reece represented listed companies, multi-national companies, and significant private companies and individuals on a variety of different commercial disputes.  Reece holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago and is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.
 
Banking & Finance – The Banking & Finance team has recently added a new Senior Legal Consultant, Nicholas McGrenra to its expanding team.
 
Nicholas is a Senior Legal Consultant in the Banking & Finance team.  He has practiced in the UK, Hong Kong and Ireland and, most recently, in the Moscow office of DLA Piper. His experience includes advising senior lenders, sponsors and government institutions on PPP infrastructure projects across various sectors, and advising both lenders and borrowers on general banking and finance transactions.  Nicholas has previously worked for Nabarro, Matheson and DLA Piper in jurisdictions including the UK, Ireland and Moscow and also has considerable experience in general finance related transactions, including leveraged acquisition and property finance.  He is admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and holds an LLB (Hons) from Coventry University.
 
Property & Commercial – The Property & Commercial team has recently added associate Maha Bin Hendi to its expanding team. 
 
Maha previously worked at Dubai International Financial Centre’s Legal Department where she worked on a range of legal matters. Maha then completed a year’s course at the Institute of Judicial and Training Studies at Sharjah, successfully achieving the UAE Law License.  Maha earned her Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Westminster, London and completed her Master’s degree from Fordham University, New York.
