Jamie is Head of the Employment department in Dubai. He has considerable experience in advising upon the full range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. He regularly advises major multinational companies in regard to their day-to-day employment queries as well as providing key support in relation to the employment aspects of mergers and acquisitions and other types of corporate transactions.

Jamie has particular expertise in employment litigation and he has successfully represented clients in the High Court and Employment Tribunals (England & Wales) as well as the Dubai Labour Courts and the DIFC Courts (where he has rights of audience).

Jamie regularly presents at industry events in the UAE and is also a contributor to the Employment & Labour Law – International Series (sixth edition) by Sweet & Maxwell as well as the PLC Employment International Transaction Guide.

Jamie completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Law at the College of Law in London. Between qualifying as a Solicitor in 2007 and joining Hadef & Partners in 2013, Jamie worked for a number of niche employment law firms in the UK including the UK’s largest specialist employment law firm – Doyle Clayton Solicitors.
